Spidernethewood is a forward-looking (landscape) architectural experiment in Nimes, France. Conceptualized by François Roche from R&Sie(n) (pronounced heresy) in 2007, the project is a 4,000sq ft summer home surrounded by a 20,000sq ft labyrinth of polypropylene mesh and trees. The idea behind this landscape is that as the plants and trees grow, they will envelop the space and completely remove it from view. (budget: $1.07mil)
